Good morning @crussel, I am on Tysabri too. When I first began, over two years ago, I was JC-. However, on my last blood test, I had switched to JC+. No-one knows why, or how, we become JC+ by the way. All is not lost for you, and I. My MS nurse told me, when I got the news, that when she started off, a JC+ result meant an immediate cessation of Tysabri. No longer. Things have moved on so much. Your doctor should have a percentage chart, correlating your titre level with your percentage risk of PML. If you have been given a booklet from the manufacturers of Tysabri then it is all set out at the back of the booklet. Having considered the percentage risk, it is a matter for you (and your doctor, I suppose) whether you proceed. If you decide to go ahead then you will be very carefully monitored. The whole JC+ thing is a well-known risk. All the medical staff are alive to it. Tysabri is a very effective DMT. I, certainly, have no qualms about recommending it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Best wishes, Jon

hey - just for more info... i've been on tysabri for like, 12 years. I've been JC+ for at least the past few years... levels are checked regularly for increase/fluctuation, but I doubt that a pos/neg test result will preclude you from this treatment. Best of luck!
