Porsche vs Nissan Micra

Hi, Having made the difficult decision of getting a wheelchair I am now eager to get my life back. Losing my independence has been really difficult and getting it back, by any means necessary, is what I am focusing on. I have had my review at nhs and I am waiting for the nhs one to be built(?) which i was advised would take between 6-8 weeks, I'm now in the 9th week. Ive decided renting one for the time being will mean I'm not putting my life on hold any longer. But i have no idea where to start... Much like buying a car i don't want to mugged off with a heap nor do i want some smarmy salesman talking me into something unnecessary.. I need to be able to collapse it to go in the boot of a cars It needs to be fairly light manual preferably not something that looks like it should feature in 'Whatever happened to baby Jane' is there a London supplier that is good? I cant get to showrooms to view myself (hence the need for a rental) Thanks

@salvia , as you're probably aware from your wheelchair being built, wheelchairs have to fit both your size and the length of your legs. A light, collapsible, self-propelled wheelchair should be easy to find in various styles, colours and price brackets. There's a company that makes custom-built, carbon fibre chairs, that start just shy of £10,000! Personally, I'd chase up your custom wheelchair and find out the expected date of delivery. It may save you from locating a decent rental......
