PIP

So I really need some advice. As well as suffering from MS I also have endometriosis and have suffered two seizures in the last few years. I put in my claim for PIP was back in April, I was truthful on my form and then came the assessment. The woman seemed perfectly nice and I answered her questions. As with the form I said exactly what was going on and how with my type of MS I can have good days and bad. A few weeks later I received my letter of rejection, based on my form and assessment and after talking to the specialists I’d put down they had decided I didn’t need any help. I appealed the decision and sent with it a letter from my MS nurse who was very blunt and to the point about my needs. I had a phone call the next day to re-confirm details I had told them then 4 days later another letter again declining my application. I’m so angry, some of the things they’ve put down are completely false and they’ve me feel like a liar. I also found out today that they had not contacted anyone I had put down to be used as evidence. My next step is the court tribunal and I was wondering if anyone had and advice or information on the way this process now works. Thanks in advance Gemma x

@gemstemple Hi Gemma, so sorry to read about your PIP claim being declined, not once but twice. You must be at your wits end, wish I could provide some useful advice but unfortunately I cant as I do not have the experience of being refused. All I will say is make sure that your referees have everything covered regarding your symptoms. It's things like this that madden me, what do they want from us Blood?. I wish you the best of luck.
