Hi @karlell and welcome . Thank you for joining us on behalf of your partner. They’re lucky to have you.

We do have some carers on the Forum, but you’ll understand that they are in the minority. But, just by reading some of the recent posts, you’ll start to understand the problems that we have to endure with our MS and our family/friends and general public.

As in any relationship, communication is key. Accept that your partner is still the same person that they always were, so don’t treat them as a medical condition rather than the person.

Give them space when they need it and a reassuring, understanding hug when they need it.
