Roche/Gennentech will be applying soon to the SMC (NICE does not apply in Scotland) for Ocrevus to be valid for PPMS. They have enlisted, amongst others, the MS Trust to aid in the submission. The MS Trust are aware that I am starting the journey of on IPTR to gain access to Ocrevus and called me yesterday to provide a view on Ocrevus for PPMS. It is unfair to my family that I will only get worse with this. Walking and speech are already suffering, 48 and 4 years into this and not how I expected to be this young. I would like to TRY Ocrevus, it MIGHT work it MIGHT not but to TRY and slow this progression would be great. After all a MIGHT is all we have and a MIGHT is worth a lot to slow things down and POSSIBLY improve our quality of life.
