Ocrevus and the immune system

I've been searching but can't seem to find the answer to this. How long after an infusion of ocrevus is your immune system suppressed? I last had one at the beginning of January so I'm due another in july, although if the situation is the same as it is today I will most likely delay the treatment.

@lukenzi Hi I have some information on this as it’s a question I have been trying to find out for weeks. I had initially received a shielding letter advising to shield if you have received treatment of ocrevus within the last 6 months with a list of other treatments so presume this would be the maximum time it’s suppressed at this point of reading the letter (I am on Ocrevus with treatment delayed currently) I spoken to MS nurse yesterday about returning back to work and treatment delay and was advised recent research with COVID19 and ocrevus is better than expected and will now just be in the vulnerable category. Even if I was to have another infusion I would not need to shield it would just be strict social distancing. So much conflicting information / opinions around this it seems.

@jack97 thank you for this information! I read on my letter that you are most vulnerable after your first 2 half doses which I have already had last year. So the impression I'm getting is that the risk of infection is not as high after your first 2 half doses?
