Freaking out. Long story short: Was offered a really competitive placement for sandwich year. Was diagnosed with RMSS. Couldn't sit my exams. Couldn't finish 2nd year uni. Can't technically progress to placement year. So have to take a break from studies to do placement job for 12 months and forfeit the professional accreditation. Can't get any financial help because I'm enrolled as repeating 2nd year but not attending class. So I'm moving country to work a new job and pay exorbitant rent with no student finance assistance. And all people keep telling me is not to worry because it will make my condition worse. University can see my situation and themselves called it "extenuating circumstances" yet won't help me or sway from regulation. I can't cope!!!!
