New mum with ppms

Hello everyone, i am a new mum with a beautiful 4 week old baby boy. I was diagnosed with ppms in 2017. I have tried and pretty much succeeded in remaining positive and was lucky enough to feel great throughout my pregnancy. Although i feel blessed to become a mum i am now massively struggling with the tiredness of being a new mum and the return of my ms symptoms. Just wondering if there are any other new mums, or equally experienced mums, out there who may have some words of advice or support in how they coped, particularly in these early days. I have good days but other days my anxiety is huge and fatigue is overwhelming. Just looking to others with ms as i don't know anyone else with this condition and sometimes feel very isolated. Thank you x

@taberkat , I've no personal experience to call on (obviously!), but I wanted to say Congratulations. You've just created a new life, something which must have put an effort on your body's resources, just as it would for any young lady. So don't over-stress your tiredness. Do you have any family local to you? Or even friends, who could come and help you out, either physically or morally? Just don't turn down any offers of assistance. And, find time to enjoy your son. They seem to grow up so quick..........

Congratulations @taberkat. Becoming a mum can be both overwhelming and exhausting without ms. So try not to overthink things as just being down to your ms as this will only stress you more. Try to just enjoy your baby and rest when he’s sleeping.. speak to your health professionals and if there are no ms mothers around you, do talk to any of the mums who will be struggling just with being a new mum like you and will have some tips that may help. I’m sure someone younger than me with more recent experience of actual ms and motherhood will join in soon... In the meantime as @stumbler says enjoy your son 🙃
