My life and New to this site

Hello y’all I am new here have been diagnosed with MS for 9 years and I was scared to death and haven’t really meet anyone who suffers from MS hopefully this will be a huge help with people really understanding and also to help with my RRMS it sucks but my moto Fight like a girl 👧 win like a boss 💪! Looking for some good workout 🏋️‍♀️ advise I do a lot of different things just have to adjust it to my ability

I admire your attitude, but always remember that MS can be a formidable enemy. Moderation is key. And sometimes, it’s better to lose a battle, as long as we win the war. 😉

Hello @jamie_kirby and welcome! Not sure where you are, but guessing the US? Do you take any meds? I think the best thing we can do regarding exercise is work out what we’re capable of, don’t overdo things but keep exercise regular. You’re right, having MS really does make you feel like there is a daily battle to face. I’ve only been diagnosed two years but it does get tiring feeling that everything is a fight. Do you have access to a physiotherapist who could recommend exercises which would be good for your body type and health needs? Have a great weekend 🙂

@stumbler 1st I love your username!! Hahahaha my niece bought me a shirt that says “No I’m not Drunk I have MS …..ok well maybe a little drunk also!” Lol love it! And yes I will always win the war I have no other chose!
@vixen yes I am from the US and I have a great team of doctors I do take Rebif injections 3 times a week and also low doses of pain meds however I have chosen to start the injections that are plant abstracts and I just started them haven’t really had any relief with them yet so I spoke with my physician and we are going to do 1 more round and if there is still no difference then we will not do them anymore. And yes I have a physical therapist whom has showed be some easy (a little to easy) exercises and I have adjusted them but I would like to try more I do several different exercises Pilates and then my elliptical Light weights and I walk every evening
