MS nurse visit

Just back from my visit with the MS nurse, well in fact two nurses, so I suppose my lucky day, the conversation was a good one. After a bad spell with a previous drug I decided to come off everything and clear my system but the past few months I have been slow and therefore I decided it was time to try another, indeed your posts and the feed back that they have had led me to Lemtrada but because I have only been on one previous drug I had to choose another, so Aubagio was decided upon, bloods were taken and I await the decision, also while there I pushed for a physio appointment as the odd stumble and subsequent fall where a cracked rib was the outcome, I need exercise to regain my strength and allow my FES to work well. But, I must say, a very productive visit and a piece to write up in the monthly blog. Hope you are all well and speak soon www.wholesorts.com

Would they not consider Mavenclad? It’s a first line treatment for MS under NICE guidelines especially as you’ve been thinking about going big with Lemtrada. I’ve just been offered Ocrelizumab after a new lesion has appeared while on Gilenya

@RogerSouthall

because I had major issues with Tecfidera and low white blood count plus contracting the JC virus, I felt this drug,Aubagio, had smaller risks, but as I keep saying, who knows, our bodies are so different and all the links and jargon mean nothing, we are taking risks to hopefully improve our time, we will see, but appreciate your reply and hopefully see you soon
