MS hugs

Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I was diagnosed with r/r Ms in 2014 but have had the symptoms since 2000! I suffer with the dreaded ms hugs which at times makes you think you are having a heart attack..this is a regular thing now. It’s frustrating how gps ignore the heart and blame it on the ms. What if there is an underlying issue with the heart??? Prabs

Hi and welcome to the club 😀. I suffer from it at times and for me it's not my heart. It's caused by my muscles tightening up. Like cramps in my legs. I was prescribed baclofen which is a muscle relaxant it keeps it from being so prevalent and annoying. Speak to your MS Nurse they should be able to help you with that.. Hope it helps.

Aww, thank u. My nurse told me there is nothing I can take for it! I shall be having a chat with him. Thank you
