MS Doc & GP Doc

Hi Everyone I have been reporting my balance has been bad since November. And at the appointment in January he just said are you stress and dismissed it. Went to the GP and they did some bloods. Found out I have Folate (I maybe using the wrong word) I have to take Folic Acid tablet for 4 months and have bloods after to see if it gone. Did another test to see what is causing the Folate. Currently waiting for the results of that now. I am more grateful for my GP Doc than I am my MS doc cause he always put everything to stress. Then we find out it has nothing to do with stress. He even ask my parents at the appointment "Does Sarah get stress" Then parents said at the same time "No she doesn't" Mam said "The only time she stresses when she can't go outside" Even after what my parents said he just went silent. So at the moment waiting for results and wondering if my MS doc should be more helpful than just blaming stress that I do not have. I even went to First Steps and they said as well I don't seem stress. But they are helping me to see a counselor that help people cope with life long illness and help them with information that can help them with their lives e.g. financial support etc So my question is ; Is everyone MS Doc like this? Is there somewhere where I can find out what my MS doc suppose to help me with? I am soo lost and so f**** (sorry for the bad language) grateful for my GP Doctors Hope everyone is having amazing 2020 xx

@sarah_graham , your Neuro (MS Doc) doesn't sound too sympathetic. How's your relationship with your MS Nurse? The can be more supportive.

@sarah_graham Over 30 years with ms, I have had 10 neurologists. If your doctor doesn’t understand or spend time at your appointment, research other doctors and think about switching. Good luck!
