Ms and pain

Hiya I was just wondering if anyone else with MS experiences pain,I know everyone is different but I'm in pain all the time with my legs and back and it gets alot worse when I've been walking,I'm already on tramadol and gabapentine but don't seem to be taking the pain away :( thank you in advance xxxx

I do. I’ve gotten used to the nerve pain, but the back pain is bad. I’m on Lyrica for nerve pain and it helps me more than the gabapentin did and unfortunately I’m on painkillers for my back. I recently had a diagnostic nerve block that helped a lot so now I’m having radio frequency ablation where they go in and burn the nerve endings so pain signals can’t get through which should give me 6 months to a year of pain relief. I’ve also tried physical therapy and it does help, but only a little for a very short time.

@mlgilber1 thank you for your reply the nerve pain I can cope with but this back pain and in my legs is horrendous I physically feel sick :( my docs have told me next step is pain team which will take ages to get referred :( xxx
