mri scan

Hello. This Friday I'm going for an mri scan. This is my fifth mri scan in a year and a half. My neurosurgeon sends an mri scan so often to track the dynamics. In the hospital every time they ask me: "Do I have claustrophobia ..." I didn’t have it before, but I feel that it will be soon, as there are still five days left, and I’m already scared. Does this happen to someone else or just me? I used to never be afraid ..

@annakonuh , this is an irrational fear that you are allowing to develop. You're familiar with the environment and noises associated with the equipment, so there will be no surprises there. You could consider Mindfullness as a tactic to help you relax. Although, if you feel that this will be a real problem for you, then have a word with your Doctor to obtain something to calm you down.
