MRI results advice /reassurance needed/

This morning I received the result of my first mri since starting Tecfidera. I was last scanned in Feb 2019 diagnosed in May 2019 but didn't start medication until the Jul. My Feb 2020 shows slight new inflammation but my neurologist advised this is expected due to the gap between scan and medication. I am not outwardly concerned and just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?

@laura-forde , I would go along with your Neuro. Tecfidera does take quite a few months to become fully effective, so it's too early to make any judgement. "Keep taking the tablets", as they say. 😉

Thanks very much Stumbler, I thought as much. Christ, I've no intention of stopping the drugs as they've made such a difference. He did advise months ago my 2020 scan would be the "base"
