Medication decisions

I’ve been offered Tecfidera or Lemtrada. Part of me wants to play it safe with the first one; the other wants to just go for it with Lemtrada. I’m 29 and newly diagnosed (although I’ve likely had it 10 years, it started with seizures which were assumed to be epilepsy at the time). I’ve got 2 weeks to decide. Lemtrada has such good reviews (despite the risks). Arghh what to do?!?!
@lottie

Of course it’s a personal choice and in the end you need to pick what feels right for you but I’d say Go for the Lem! It is the best drug available at the mo and the whole treatment is a major anti climax, promise ;) Try fb lemtrada (alemtuzumab Campath) uk page it’s ram packed with info and a very friendly community. Good luck on your journey.

My wife is using tecfidera but she is over 40. Based on what you said and assuming your ms is active based on the fact they offered thst medication I would likely take the extra risk and go with Lemtrada especially if there is a chance you will be having kids in the future.
