Magnesium supplements

Hello
Lately my leg extensor spasticity along with clonus tremors in my left leg has become bad. Has anyone started magnesium supplements to help spasticity symptoms and has it made a difference? I am mostly curious if anyone has noticed it making a difference.
I welcome all responses!
Many thanks 😊

@itsallinmyhead
Hi
I’ve been prescribed baclofen to sort my spasicisty out with my legs, it’s not perfect but way better than it was before.
Might be worth asking your GP about it.
Hope this helps

I take magnesium as well as baclofen. I find it helps moderately. However other factors like heat, cold and irritants also have an effect. Hope you find it helpful.

I also take magnesium, and notice a difference when I don’t have it. I only get spasms occasionally, but if I miss a couple days of magnesium I get them more frequently
