Lp results at last

Well after having the second Mri after 13 years showing up the old brain lesions again which I thought looked very similiar to the original ones but my 2005 Mri couldn't be located to compare but before going on tec wanted to repeat the lp as in 2007 this showed up clear and today was the day I got the results of the second lp originally suppose to be 3 weeks ago but had to be rescheduled I was kinda glad to have the extra thinking time - but it was again completely clear which has turned things on its head again - I've kinda decided to let it slide for another while and have asked Neuro if it wd be OK to do another mri in 12/18 mths and compare - it's a huge decision to make as I'm generally as fit as a fiddle and never catch any colds or bugs that are normally going and I don't want to weaken the immune system to fall into that spiral of catching everything that's going as I told the neuro I don't want to be stupid about it and was fully prepared to get the news that the lp was positive and I would be on tec but it's just now ......... 😳😳 why does ms have to be so unpredictable with no clear path ..... I know a lot of people would probably think I'm being stupid and should just get on the drugs like yesterday but I'm just so conflicted ....
@Stumbler

@cloudy , unfortunately, nothing about MS is predictable! Anyway, your Neuro must have seen something in your latest MRI scan, which enabled them to make a formal diagnosis. There are strict criteria that have to be satisfied to allow this diagnosis (https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/mcdonald-criteria). In any event, MRI scans may not show everything that is going on and Lumber Punctures are sometimes inconclusive.......... Ultimately, the decision to adopt a Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT) is yours. Your decision may be the correct one, it may not. More unpredictability I'm afraid.....
