Long time no see

Hi everyone. It’s been a long time since I posted here! Since I last posted I have had a son (he’s now 7 months and he’s fab). My MS was very good during pregnancy and I breastfed afterwards which helped to keep symptoms low. However now I’m struggling with new MS symptoms. I’ve always had a bad right leg from previous relapses- clonus, stiffness, altered sensations the usual really. But recently I have a strip of muscle parallel to my spine on the left which goes numb a lot or feels like something is crawling on it. Also my left leg is now bad and I drag the fruit. I feel like my whole body is sparking off at the moment with jerky movements, numbness, tingling etc. I had Lemtrada 4 years ago just as a side note. I’m seeing a neurologist tomorrow albeit not my own as they got me a fast appointment. P.S. I also wear and FES machine on both legs to help with foot drop and overriding the muscles in my legs. I’ve no idea what the neuro will say tomorrow... mri again? More treatment? Who knows x

Hi @chloeautumnx and congratulations Mum. This could be your hormones returning to normal following the birth of your son. You may also be a bit tired, with disrupted sleep, a demanding baby and a home to look after. I'm not sure about what the Neuro will say tomorrow either. I'm sure you'll update us.

Dear @chloeautumnx, Good luck with the neurologist. I hope it goes well for you, and you get some reassuring news. Best wishes, Jon
