Live-in care for younger people

Hi, If there's anyone out there with PPMS, who is under 100 (really) and has live-in care, please could you get in touch? I'm struggling to find an agency which doesn't say "We've never cared for a younger person before" and it's starting to grate... It's as if someone who requires live-in care can't / shouldn't have a social life and MUST be in bed by 10pm every night. Anyway, I'd love to hear from anyone who has a positive experience of NOT using personal payments to find decent live-in care. Cheers, BigSis x

Hi @bigsis and welcome. I can't say that we have that many members over the age of 100! But, your request is fairly niche, so I'm not sure how many responses you might get. My only thought is to call up the MS Society Helpline on 0808 800 8000 and see if they have any advice. Or even call up SCOPE on 0808 800 3333...........

Thanks @stumbler - I really appreciate the response. It seems that live-in care is incredibly niche for anyone under 90, as even the care agencies can't help! SCOPE is definitely an avenue I've not explored - great suggestion. Thank you!
