lemtrada and platelets

Hi! im almost 1 year after round 2 of lemtrada, and for the last couple of months my platelets have been in the lower limit. They are still normal but im starting to get worried. I would like to know if someone has had the same situation and if they have some advice or could tell me if they got lower or if they recovered eventually. i Talked to my neurologist and he says we have to wait and see.

@dmargarita , Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP, or low platelets) are a known side-effect of Lemtrada, seen in approximately 2% of patients. It is one of the reasons that you are monitored monthly. You and your Neuro are aware of the issue, so "wait and see" is a reasonable way forward.
