Leg numbness

Can someone explain to me what their leg numbness feels like. I’m currently experiencing numbness from my lower stomach right down to my feet, my stomach and my feet feel really tight and my legs just feel like the sensations away.

Hey! Sorry to hear this. I get the numbness in my feet. It’s like I can feel my feet just like I sat on them for a really long time. Sometimes if my sock is half off I won’t feel it. It’s a weird feeling. Not like pins and needles just like numb on the inside. Such a weird experience. I think when my feet go numb it’s my body saying slow down or I’m fighting some kind of infection off. You might want to pay attention to it. My first attack it started in my feet and I ignored it eventually it went all the way up to my legs and I was unable to stand or move my legs. So just pay attention to your numbness. Are you more stressed than normal? Are you sick? Are you getting enough sleep?

@robyn_bain I actually haven't been diagnosed with ms but have been searching for an explanation to the limb sensations and found your post. I have intracranial hypertension and cerebellar and cerebral atrophy but no lesions. For over a year I have had a spread of pins and needles, tourniquet and twitching sensations in my lower legs and arm. It started with a small buzzy patch on my left shin for about a month and has gradually spread to the foot then the other now it's knees down and left forearm. The tightness of a tourniquet feeling that's in my lower legs is awful. After walking for a time I feel my left leg becomes weaker. I actually find support stockings strangely comforting if they become intolerable. I've tried gabapentin and pregabalin but both didn't suit me. I hope you find some help soon. All the best xx
