Just what I needed....... NOT

Hi all, I just need a moan: I had a biopsy done on a small lump on my leg, just before Xmas, the consultant Dermatologist phoned me 2.5 weeks ago and advised me that I needed Radiotherapy treatment to prevent it from spreading, told me I needed blood tests, I advised that I was getting my LFT work done the following morning, he ended the call to phone my GP, didn't get through to him nor did he phone me back, I saw my GP the following week - who hadn't heard from him by phone or mail - my GP gave me the number of his consulting rooms, I phoned - only to get the message that they were closed until 13/2/19, I phoned today and his secretary phoned me - after speaking with him - to advise that UHL would be writing to me with an appointment within 2 weeks. I still don't know officially what is wrong with me - putting 2 & 2 together ie Radiotherapy and stop spreading, I can only assume that it is cancer. Sorry for the very long message. As you can imagine - quite stressful, just what an MSer needs. Thanks Brendan
@Stumbler

@z900 , your moan is entirely understandable. In the UK, there are maximum waiting times for situations like this. Is there anything similar in Ireland? Try not to let the situation stress you out. You're doing what you can to progress the situation and stressing has no positives. Good luck.
