I was given the diagnosis of PPMS last year.😢 it was a shock. I'm 56yrs and am struggling to walk. It's like I've become an old lady very quickly. I have got myself a walking trolly😃 which has helped me cope with of road walks. I can sit down when I need to. It's my hot flushes which cause me the most disability in my legs. I get them so often. 🤣😢 how long will I have to put up with them agrivating the MS.😫

Hi @josie_hill and welcome. I'd love to give you a bright, optimistic response, but unfortunately life isn't like that. I'm in a similar position with my SPMS, There are no treatments for our MS, all we can do is take medications to help us manage our symptoms. To this end, you should have been introduced to an MS Nurse. You should advise them of any symptoms causing a problem, to see if there is a medication to provide some relief. Otherwise, we have to get on with living our lives as best we can.............
