It’s a 4 letter word

I am fed up with it. In response to a typical Scottish greeting of “how are you” (not in a Joey way) you are supposed to reply with “fine” and I am fed up saying that. It’s now a 4 letter word beginning with F. Folk don’t want to hear of my struggles with MS they want to hear “fine” and I am not nor ever will be ! The 4 letter word is being replaced with “managing” which makes getting some managing sandpaper difficult

@watsoncraig , anyone who asks, "How are you?" does not want a negative answer. That goes for everybody that is asked! I respond, "that I've been better, I just can't remember when!" Treat it as an opening gambit, like saying hello, air-kissing or shaking hands. Nothing more than that!
