It has been too Long

Hi I am Lee'Ann and I have had M.S. for 25 years. I was diagnosed with Remitting Re-missive and have had many changes since then I am now in a Remitting progressive state. You would think after all these years I would be more informed and more stoic about my disability but I admit I tend to put everything about me to the back, I have so many other people to take care of. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant and was a Restaurant Manager for 20+ years. I quit restaurants to take care of my Mom for her last 6 months and then I was told that I could not work 90 hours a week any more. That,s how I became a CNA. I am still scared that I will get worse and worse and have no one to take care of me. My children have their own lives, and I drive them crazy, so that's out of the question. I am in Graduate School to become a Social Worker for the Ageing and Disabled but I am afraid I will not be able to get hired because of my age (58) and my own disabilities. This is my first post so I am kind of complaining, but I love my job but feel there is more I can do, but also feel that time is not on my side. Thanks for reading this I hope to make new friends soon!!!!!

@leeann_dries , you really are a driven lady, aren't you? There's no point worrying about the future, as we have to deal with today first. Tomorrow will look after itself. I really hope that you reach where you aspirations take you. After 25 years of MS, you aren't doing too bad.
