I fell!

I went to get out of the car today and my legs completely have out on me. Boom! Right down to the ground! My husband rushed over to me and asked me what was wrong. I started crying and said "I can't feel my legs! They just gave out on me. They're completely numb!" He said "We need to get you in to see the doctor af soon as possible, not wait till next month! Something is wrong!" I said "What if I can't drive anymore?" He sighed and said "We'll figure it out." I tried calling the doctor and nope, he's booked solid until next month! My only option is the ER. My husband is going to take me. I'm at a complete loss. I have so much to do (daughter's graduation party next weekend, camping, getting ready for the county fair), and I have to take my very sick daughter to a multitude of doctor appointments herself this month and next. I can't be dealing with this! One thing I forgot to mention, I've had violent shaking spells for well over a year and they've been getting worse. They last from a few minutes to more than 4 hours! They're like seizures, but I'm alert. I just have no control over my body.

@arica_therrien , I'm sorry that you had that mishap today. It seems the ER is your only option to try and get things moving forward. But, this situation is starting to up your stress levels and this is not good for you. I appreciate that you have a lot of commitments coming up, but we're a resilient bunch and we'll always find a way to achieve what we need to do. So, please try and sit down, put your feet up and try and relax.

@stumbler I feel embarrassed. People I've known for awhile ask me how I'm doing and I force a smile and say "Fine". I know if I have trouble at my daughter's party, I'll get the ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ˜• looks, and questions I don't want to answer. I don't want to ruin my daughter's party. Besides, how can I explain something I don't understand? This is so confusing! I keep thinking "What's going go happen to me now? What're we gonna do? Our house is not built to adapt to someone who has mobility difficulties. What if I fall down the stairs?"
