Housing

New to forum. I am 49 and I won't be able to live on my own very soon. What resources are out there to find housing (group or other) for an under 50 year old? Been looking online, but places are all 55+. I prefer a warm climate, but other than that can live anywhere.

Have you reached out to the MS Society for recomendations: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Chapters/MAM or https://disabilityinfo.org/offices/aging-and-disability-resource-centers-adrcs/ Sounds like you prefer not to stay in Boston but they may help you transition or you could look for similar organizations in an area you do want to live... I live in a small community so, by statistics, there should be only one or two people with MS. Strange enough I met the other, randomly, when our 4H club was doing animal therapy at our local assisted living center...and I know he is under 50 so if you have MS, or another identified disability, I think the age requirement is waived. Have you checked into assisted living centers and explained your MS diagnosis?
