High Anxiety

I am part of a leadership training group. The next training session will be held in Washinton DC for a week. There will be extensive walking and meeting with people. When i explained that I have MS and extensive walking will be difficult for me. With a gleam in his eye the instructor explained they had someone with a wheel chair on the trip last year. So they will be able to get me around. I just stood there. Staring at him. My mind racing with all of the nuances of ms and everything that i need to be carefull of. And if we are on our feet for 8 hours.... Will i be able to even walk the next day? They usually have meals planned out, i have asked for vegetarian, which usually means pasta. Blah. Pasta effects my eye sight. So i usually eat very little during the 2 to 3 day trainings. This one is a week. The more stressed i get the more any food makes me sick. Blah. Not looking forward to this trip and i know i should be excited like everyone else, but i am not there yet. All i can imagine is being sick, peeing myself and my legs locking up. Hey everyone look at me....

@jreberg74gmail , all you can do is prepare and plan meticulously, so that you can mitigate all the problems, before they become problems. That way you can reduce the anxiety and avoid the self-fulfilling prophecies!
