Hi new

Hi im new to all this, i got diagnosed with MS last year and have just tried my best to carry on. I have had many of the symptoms for years and a rather big relapse but didn't seem understood back then lots of different tests. In the end just carried on dealing with it all, then i got optic neuritis and had more tests and the dreaded diagnosis, but also felt relieved so i knew what was actually wrong. I've not spoken to anyone who has MS would be nice to now connect with others who understand :)

Hi @ellarosepetal, welcome to Shift. Yep, we all understand how tough it is, although often a relief to be finally diagnosed, as you say. People use this site to chat, ask advice, offer tips and sometimes make bold statements! Everyone is friendly, and it is really great that there's a shared understanding of what others think and feel without having to explain. It's been a real safety net during the Covid crisis for sure. Have a great day!
