Hi My Name is Tony , i am 59 and have been recently been diagnosed with MS progressive - having lived and travelled for 30 years with MS relapse/remission. I am currently working , but it is a very long day and quite intensive and so i am now considering what options are open to me . What i need help with is to understand what kind of financial help is out there if any, should i decide to stop full time working ? My wife is in all essence looking after me when it comes to organizing all my physio/treatments and making sure that i know when all my hospital appointments are ,plus stepping in when i need to rest .The major issue as we all know is that MS is so mysterious in how it affects every individual that we are having to plan now for the worst case scenario - we will be moving home so i don't have to contend with stairs anymore , which is very upsetting enough especially for my wife . However i am also now at the crossroads of what to do next work wise - i want to spend quality time with my wife but understand about stopping work too early could not be the right thing either - Please help !
