Hi All!

Hey everyone – thought I would introduce myself. I am Marina, 35 and live in the Washington DC (US) area. I have been diagnosed with MS for 10 years. Currently I am on Ocrevus (5th dose next month!).

Looking forward to getting to know people, I gave message boards and groups a try when I was first diagnosed but they were (to me) sad hopeless places so I ran from that, but this seems different 🙂

Hi @marina_valero and welcome.

The Forum is different. OK, everyone has a bad day and we handle that, but otherwise it’s about adopting a “can do” philosophy,as portrayed by the Forum’s vision statement here :-

@marina_valero hi I’m new too. Everyone is really friendly and supportive. I was diagnosed 6 years ago. My life has completely changed, but I think I’m a better person for it. As the song goes ‘life is a rollercoaster ‘ I stay in Manchester in the UK but I’m originally I’m from Scotland. I’m off to bed, need some shut eye, before my next week of work begins 😊

Hi Maria
I was diagnosed with rrms in 2004 ago and was offered to be in these groups
I entirely refused no offense but my well-being matters much to me
I don’t want to feel sympathy for anyone I don’t think anyone allow that for themselves I personally don’t
And I’m afraid I feel sad and imagine myself like that and my nervous is naturally ready to be like that.

I just rather deal with it alone and actually no one in my life knows but my family
