Hi!

I'm new to this site, I was dx with ppms almost 10 years ago. I have been on Betaseron, Copaxone and Rebif, none of them helped. Now for about 6 years I've been on Tysabri infusions, and since starting it, I've had no new or active lesions. It has givin back my life! I also workout every day and don't eat anything processed or prepared, I really believe that is why I function so well,I'm still in a wheelchair, but I can do things I couldn't do for years!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi @deanna_adams and welcome. Situations like this confuse me. Primary Progressing MS (PPMS) is called 'primary' – because progression happens first, rather than having a relapsing remitting phase which can be followed by a progressive phase called secondary progressive MS. In fact. it is very rare to have any relapses and remissions with PPMS. Also, the Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs) have never been specified for PPMS, which makes me think that you have been suffering from Relapsing Remitting MS (RRMS). Anyway, these are just words and Tysabri seems to have given you back your life and it's the end result which is important. 😉
