Hello Deb, I would suggest that you take every reasonable precaution as a diabetic particularly. You can self refer to the gov.uk shielded patients list and see if you meet the criteria but I personally would be very cautious mainly due to the fact that diabetics on the whole are not faring terribly well with Cvd-19. You could also contact your GP but that might be easier said than done just now. Certainly do not go shopping yourself if you can possibly avoid it would be my advice.
Wishing you the best, PPS 🧚🏽‍♀️

Do you have local grocery stores that could deliver you stuff like milk, bread etc. Even if it cut down your husband’s supermarket visits to once a week it might help.

Just the supermarkets really , the shop down the street doesn’t deliver, thank

@deb_donnelly , contact your local Council. I believe they are collating details of local groups/people who are willing to help the vulnerable.

have you registered on the gov website as vulnerable? if you do they contact the supermarkets and you get priority for online shops

Have you registered on the gov.uk site? They feed that back to the supermarkets. In the short term not useful but this lockdown ain’t going away in a hurry. Then the supermarket emails you to say you have access to slots.
