Hi @butterfly999 so sorry to hear about your wife, but welcome to the site. I am also very new to shift ms but I am finding it very helpful and everyone on the site is super friendly
Hi @butterfly999 . It's good of you to join us, to support your wife. As this diagnosis is so recent, it's important for you both to take your time to allow this information to be processed by you both. Be very wary of random Googling. You need to stick with creditable sites like the MS Society and MS Trust, to get specific information. There's an introduction to Progressive MS here :- https://support.mstrust.org.uk/file/store-pdfs/Progressive-MS-Final-WEB.pdf Further introductory information can be found by following the "Newly Diagnosed" link on this webpage :- https://support.mstrust.org.uk/shop You should also get an introduction to your MS Nurse, a specialist nurse, who only manages MS patients. They're a good source of information and should be your first point of contact for all things MS. In the meantime, live healthily, eat healthily and try and avoid stress. I know that latter point will be difficult, but stressing and worrying does not help. You are probably, and understandably, both concerned about the future. This also pointless as no-one knows what the future holds, so live for the present. Please feel free to pose any questions you may have.
