Hi all, I was diagnosed 17yrs ago, at first I managed really well but 10yrs ago I got worse & ended up being unable to work. About 2yrs ago I was diagnosed with secondary progressive MS & to top it all 6wks ago I developed a severe case of drop foot which was a nightmare, however, yesterday I saw my great Consultant who has now referred me 4 a gadget to b attached 2 my hip & foot which stimulates yr foot 2 rise when walking thus avoiding the drop foot. I think I had the best nights sleep in a long time knowing that at last I would be able to walk better - watch this space ....
