GP, neuero vs the SMC

GPs called and asked me to attend a review before doing a repeat prescription for Omeprazole (stops me choking in the evening) and a slot was open for Tuesday next week! Why is there never an appointment when I want one and with the news that "O" will be available on the NHS in England from September I will be using the advice of the Scottish Health Secretary, who advises to apply for "O" for PPMS here in Scotland by using a PACS Teir 2 form, this is available to GPs and as my nuero thinks it may help the SMC have little to argue about. Surely my quality of life is more important than having to relocate south of the border?
