Gilenya
Hello. I teach and just started taking Gilenya. My white blood cell count was a little low. Should I worry about getting sick?

@melanie_edenfield_1 , this seems to be quite common with Gilenya users. It's something which should be monitored regularly as part of the medical protocol for taking Gilenya. A "Gilenya" tag has been added to the foot of your post above. Select this to locate other conversations about this treatment.
Hi melanie_edenfield_1, I am on Gilenya and my white blood cells are low if I have an infection. I suffer from bladder infections so I have to keep this checked. I have to get the bloods checked every three months due to being on Gilenya, do you get yours checked? It’s normal for the Lymphocytes which are part of the white blood cells to be low when on Gilenya. Ann Marie
