Getting back to being somewhat active

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone had advice about getting back to being active. Since my diagnosis in June of last year I have completely stopped doing any type of exercise. I wanted to get back into it but I am not sure what would be a good starting point. Before my diagnosis I walked and did some yoga here and there but now that my balance is way off I'm scared to do yoga and walking is fine its just that I look like a drunk person sometimes walking and I tend to trip a lot. I was told to do water aerobics, has anyone given that a try and do you like it? any and all suggestions are welcome!!

I was sent a dvd to try some excercises, from a charity I go to gym nothing crazy just treadmill on an incline I don't run. I have a dodgy ankle. I heard anything water based it good less impact on joints

@grandma

Anything in the water is great. I'm 63, have had the beast for 26 years can't really walk and my hands don't work but I can still swim. I can do things in the water that I can't do on land, it's important to keep everything going cos as you know there is nothing really wrong with anything in your body, the messages from your brain just aren't getting through as normal. Just be careful of normal bumps and strains and putting it all down to your ms, you can still twist an ankle🥊 Swimming is the best all round exercise and even if you don't actually swim, it doesn't matter, just walking in the water or floating on your back and sculling will help🤞👏😜
