Hi all. I'm on Plegridy, taking it biweekly. When first administered, it was advised to get a full blood count check every three months, which did take place for the first year or so. Apparently GPS "get into trouble" if they take bloods too often so on contacting them today they were not too keen to take bloods given I was tested only 6 months ago. On consulting the MS Trust they could not be specific saying their advice notes were vague. Has anyone had clear advise on what is good practice for effective patient care please?- appreciate it will differ for the type of drug you are on - so interested to hear from Plegridy patients please. (I've also tried to contact my MS nurse but given I understand this is a non urgent request she may take some time to respond) Many thanks Knotty x
