Hi folks, the boiler went kaput yesterday and the engineer who came to repair it this morning told me about grants for people on disability benefits and other income related benefits. Over 60 years old. Receive disabled worker element. ... Child under 16. Child under 20 (not in higher education)". I just want to ask, has anyone applied for the grant before? My mum is at the higher rate of disability benefits so she meets the requirements. The engineer took her details and said they will be in touch. Just thought I'd share in case some of you are unaware about the grant.
