Feel a bit deflated and stupid

So I’m waiting for a diagnosis of various symptoms. I had an appointment via video link at home with a neurologist and I just feel like I messed it up. I’ve been waiting for 6 months , in pain , and I couldn’t articulate my symptoms . He asked me if it’s there all the time or now and again - I answered now and again and what I meant was all the time but the severity and level of pain are now and again . I have a spasms in my legs , my foot feels numb most of the time , on a night my leg feels like it’s buzzing. I sometimes feel if I’m out walking that my left arm is just dangling . My mouth burns all the time with some numbness. My sense of smell is awry - things smell different to what they should . Visual disturbance. And I didn’t say half of this . I could barely hear him . He has referred me for an mri scan but was quite dismissive that he didn’t expect too see anything nasty ‘ I feel deflatedand defeated . I was referred as doc suspected ms . I suspected it . I read the posts in here and it all resonates loudly And now I feel like I must be imagining it all . He said as we get older we do feel differences . I’m 46 . I’ve always been able to walk miles and now I have to think about where I’m going and whether or not I will be able to do it. Sorry this a very needy and miserable first post . But I keep going over the appointment in my head .

Hi @rosie_paolo, try not to worry about that. What you could do, is write a short letter with a more accurate list of symptoms and send it to him, asking for it to be scanned into your notes. Say you were very cognitively impaired during your interview. Also, what really matters will be the MRI results; this is the thing that next plans and appointments will be based on. So focus on your wellbeing and living as healthily as possible. All the best!

@vixen thanks for your reply . I think I just needed to let out how frustrated I felt with the call. I may actually send the note though .
