Fecal urgency

Hi there! First time posting here. I was diagnosed with RRMS 8 years ago and am recently experiencing major fecal urgency. It’s scaring me. Does anyone have any insight or advice? I’m terrified that I’ll be out and the urge will hit me and there won’t be a bathroom nearby.

@amy_hauber Are you on Copaxone? Faecal urgency is a listed side-effect of that drug. Its one of the reasons I took myself off it. If you aren't on that drug you may need some other strategies but it is not insurmountable. You probably already know that a lot is to do with timing and what you eat and when, and when you choose to go it. It can take time to work out what is manageable. I have found it more of an issue in relapse. good luck
