DVLA Car insurance info

I just wanted to tell people that I have had a good day today.... My car insurance runs out tomorrow and I thought that perhaps I would not be able to drive until the DVLA issue me with a new one which will take a while as contacting my consultant due to notification of RRMS diagnosis. Fortunately DVLA are keeping my current licence valid until new one been issued and car insurance was cheaper than last year without the diagnosis! Insurance lady had MS too and was really great to talk to. Total weight lifted 🏋️😅 so ultimately I'm feeling really happy and positive at the moment as dodged another MS bullet today 😁

That's good news, @kat1 . Cheaper Insurance! Did they make a mistake, as most things go up in price these days... :wink: That reminds me, the DVLA have still got my licence! I think I've confused them when I put down "n/a" for my Consultant - he discharged me. They've already had me down to my GP for an "examination".............

Haha, I am wondering whether they are going to ask me to go in for an examination but not worried if they do. Just as long as I can keep driving in the interim, I'm happy!
