Does it get any better?

I started getting symptoms January 3rd and was diagnosed January 31st. I went numb from the breast down and through February the numbness subsided except in a couple places. I came down with a cold over 3 weeks ago and i can't seem to shake it off. I started antibiotics last night hopefully it helps. What i am expeencing now is my numbness is coming back and now I have mild optic neuritis. I have to go Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for infusion of steroids. I am scared and i do not feel good at all. I am on Copaxone could this be the reason i feel so ickey?

@Kristi_jo_hudson it does get better. It is intense and scary and totally overwhelming at first, particularly with your symptoms. Those feelings often come back. They are difficult to deal with but they are a part of the journey and it is okay to let yourself feel them. Things will settle but it is very much trial by fire. You are also not alone! I started treatment in October and found it took me a good 6 weeks before I felt at all like myself physically, and I am still struggling mentally. I am on Tecfidera so I cannot speak to Copaxone, but, unfortunately, sometimes all we can do is wait.

@emilyawithers Thank you, I really think that I am overloading myself with appointments and school. I need to remember that i have limitations now, but I seem to keep forgetting. I am afraid if i stop that I will not be able to get back up again. Did you ever feel that way?
