dissapointed in the NHS

Hi all, had my a yearly check up at the hospital yesterday, before I booked my appointment I I explained to my consultants secretary that I would need another scan before I see him which was recommended by my Ms nurse 2 Days Later I then had another phone call from the Department to book me in for an appointment, as I said yesterday I went for my appointment to see my consultant he looked at my brain scanned and spinal scan from 2 years ago and said everything appears to be fine. Explain to him some my symptoms have got worse he didn't seem to be that worried asked if I was on medication I said no not at the moment, he said that's how he'd like to keep it. After explaining about my new symptoms he then explained to me about going on medication and then by the end said that he will book me in for an MRI scan. Just a little confused at the moment.
@Vixen

Hello @stu09, do you have good contact with your nurse? You could maybe ask to change to another neuro, it doesnt sound as though yours has his finger on the pulse. It won’t cause offence if you say you’d like a second opinion. The NHS service is great, but it’s painful having to do all the chasing, I know. It’s tough that we have to be our own advocates, but you know what’s best for you. Hope you get sorted and feel happy with your care :-)

@stu09 , "indecisive" was the word that came to mind, reading your tale. But I see @Vixen has provided good advice.
