Hi people hope all are as well as can be!! Just wanted to ask a question been very breathless lately especially when speaking. Spoken to my nurse who told me to monitor it but she does,nt think it,s anything to do with the m.s. anyone had anything like this??

Possibly another cause but I was having some breathing problems during a relapse which were apparently due to lesion high in c spine at C2 .

@dinnerlady , now it depends on what you’re doing or have been doing! Sorry, that’s unjustified. Naughty me! 😉

But, seriously, I’d pop and see your GP. to eliminate other non-MS possibilities.

Could be MS hug. Have you heard of this? Very uncomfortable but not dangerous.

I was prescribed to see a speech therapist a few months back as I having trouble speaking and swallowing efficiently. My breathing was also a little rampant because of this, some simple exercises in breathing techniques have allowed me to speak more effectively and swallow normally with minimal distress.
