Diet and MS

Hey guys I’m in need of urgent help! I’ve had extreme bloating and abdominal discomfort for as long as I can remember ! The doctors have ran all the tests and don’t know what’s wrong 🙁 I was wondering if anyone follows a certain diet that might help with this because I have a feeling it’s connected to my MS

ever heard of “slippery elm?” Good for bloating as well as constipation.
Are you eating a reduced gluten diet?

@a_girls_gotta_eat , I’m sure that you haven’t recently changed your diet to pre-empt this situation. So, it must be MS-related.

Have you recently had a dose of Mavenclad. That can cause stomach pain, although not necessarily gastric problems.

Could it be related to anxiety?

@alleymcg yes I try and avoid gluten where possible because I’ve read that it can cause bloating but it just seems like everything and anything causes the pain

@stumbler I’m currently on Mavenclad but it hasn’t made my bloating get any worse ! It just seems like nothing can eliminate the pain 🤔 I have read a few rare studies where people experience the same gastric symptoms as me and are diagnosed with Ms but unfortunately there’s no solid evidence 🙁
