I’ve struggled with depression for over 20yrs. Since I was diagnosed with MS in 2014 I’ve had anxiety and panic attacks. Some things that have helped me cope have been group therapy meditation techniques and limited medication. I’ve also cut out all alcohol and as much caffeine as I can.

@andy_futrell_1 , it sounds like you are concerned about this. In that case, keep on talking to your Doctor, so they can manage your medication accordingly.

Hi @andy_futrell_1, yep, it’s a fairly common affliction and affects many people with MS. Maybe a change of meds might help keep a lid on it a bit. Learning to manage stress is not easy, but stress can also have a real impact on us. Keep going, as you said, it sounds like by and large you keep it under control 🙂

Speak to your doctor and reiterate that it can be common to these with MS. Avoid stress, cigarettes and alcohol.
