depression and ms

Has anybody written anything on this? They tell you not to take treatment if you may be depressed but how do you say no to something that is helping you? I'm not going to see a shrink again though.
@Gav

Its been well doccumented on MS and its link to depression, the MSRC has a large section on it at http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm/fuseaction/show/pageid/756 I'm no medical professional, but when I've spokent to my GP about taking anti depressants he hasn't seemed massively opposed to the idea, but he wanted me to speak with my cognitive behavioural therapist and get his opinion too. When you say 'they' tell you no to take treatment if you're depressed, who is you mean when you say they? And are you referring to drugs for your MS or your depression?

@mschronic

I guess I mean my mother. She is trying to make me feel better and I love her alot but I don't think that she can help this depression I'm going through. I'm just feeling very low and slumped and because of the many types of chronic medication that I'm taking I think another would be bad for us all. I'll look up the link. Ta
